Welcome to the PLC Playground
Build a real 24 V control circuit, program the PLC in ladder logic, and run it. Everything is simulated electrically, so wrong wiring really doesn't work.
1 · Wire the panel
Add parts from the list on the left (click, or drag onto the panel).
Click a terminal, then another terminal, to run a wire. Hover a terminal to read its voltage.
The PLC needs L+ → +24 V and M → 0 V. An input turns on when I0.x and COM differ by 24 V.
For PNP sensors and buttons fed from +24 V, wire COM to 0 V. For NPN sensors, wire COM to +24 V.
Outputs Q0.x switch +24 V. Wire each load from Q0.x back to 0 V.
2 · Write ladder logic
Click a rung, then click NO, NC, Coil, TON… (or press keys 1–0). Contacts are added in series, left to right. Coils and timers go on the right automatically.
Type the address in the box that pops up, e.g. I0.0, or the device name such as START. Press Enter, then add the next instruction.
